Smithsonian Environmental Research Center (SERC). Join
us for this fun outdoor series which will be an introduction to
discovering life on forest trails. Suggested for ages 8 to adult.
Bird Watching Basics: In this second of the series we'll learn
how to use binoculars properly, how to search for birds, and use
field guides. Bring binoculars if you have them, a limited number
are available to borrow. Cost is $20 per person or $30 per couple
and includes three programs (in the 3 part series) and a magnifying
glass for the trail. Pre-registration is required by calling (301)
